JobMatch Talent is audited and certified by DNV-GL, Det Norske Veritas, according to EFPA’s new test review model. The certification refers to the prediction of work performance, such as productive action, quality of work and collaborative ability. The optional supplementary work analysis, i.e. different profiles to match the result against, is not included in the certification, as the profiles are variable.
JobMatch Talent has thus undergone a thorough review of validity, reliability and other psychometric factors, and it has been validated that the test meets the extensive requirements set by EFPA on psychological tests for predicting work performance.
Together with researchers from the University of Gothenburg and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, we have also conducted various psychometric and scientific studies on JobMatch Talent and produced detailed scientific evidence of validity and reliability as well as other important statistical studies.

JobMatch Talent is an evidence-based occupational psychology test designed to be used in recruiting and developing employees and leaders. Since 2000, over 35,000 tests have been completed.
JobMatch Talent includes 200 questions which take approximately 45 minutes to answer online. The test is administered via the JobMatch Centre online.
The JobMatch Talent test has 30 different measurement areas, giving you all the important information about a person’s work-related qualities together in one place. When you need to recruit, help managers or employees to evolve, hold employee appraisals, coach, career change or create teams, you can produce relevant reports for each purpose.
JobMatch Talent is based on work-related psychometrics. The test is not limited to any specific psychological theory such as Jung, DISC or Big-five. JobMatch Talent is based on a multi-theoretical model that combines parts of different theories and includes the characteristics that have the greatest influence on work performance. Many of JobMatch Talent’s properties are therefore found in other tests, such as NEOPI-R, 16 PF, OPQ32 and DISC, but they are used in JMT in a more work-related context. Comparative studies with the NEO PI-R test show that JobMatch Talent has a strong link to the Big Five model.
JobMatch Talent’s background and structure in brief
JobMatch Talent developed in the period between 1995 and 2000 in collaboration between a Danish / Swedish HR and leadership expert panel, where the focus was on developing a practical, easy-to-use test tool that measures the most important work-related qualities of the candidate – including qualities which may be difficult to obtain through interviews or in employee appraisals.
The JobMatch Talent results show 10 main qualities and 30 underlying qualities, as well as a performance index that gives a picture of the reliability of the overall results.
In the graphic layout we have tried to create a design which is as educational and functional as possible. The task was to combine 30 sub-scales and 10 main scales into a clear graphical image.
We have been inspired by many different testing tools and especially thank Taylor Johnsson Temperament Analysis (T-JTA) for being the main source of inspiration for our graphical test design.
