A scientific study conducted by researchers at the University of Gothenburg that analyses results from over 6789 completed JobMatch Talent tests has now been published in the scientific journal Clinical and Experimental Psychology. The study shows how younger and older managers differ and had now been approved for scientific publishing. The extent of the analytical material, based on 6789 test results, makes the study unique.
“The study shows that younger managers are more ambitious; with age, the focus changes from their own career to being a team player and developing employees. This in turn causes a more tolerant attitude to blossom, which may be the reason why the winning mentality decreases,” says Trevor Archer, Professor of Psychology at the University of Gothenburg and one of the authors of the study.
