Swedish assessment provider Jobmatch Sweden is establishing a presence in Bulgaria through a partnership with HR consultancy Toro Group. The company will offer Jobmatch’s assessment solutions alongside complementary HR services in the Bulgarian market.

Toro Group provides services including recruitment and executive search, staffing and outsourcing, talent assessment, development programmes and career counselling. The company has experience across a wide range of industries, including banking and finance, automotive, IT, energy, life sciences, professional services, retail and logistics.
The Bulgarian market for psychometric assessments is already well established, with a variety of assessment tools available. According to Nevena Nikolova, Jobmatch Practice Leader at Toro Group, demand is increasing for modern, technology-based solutions that provide better support for recruitment and development decisions. She also believes that personal characteristics may become increasingly important as AI makes job-related knowledge more readily accessible.
“We see significant potential for Jobmatch Talent to become a leading psychometric assessment solution in the Bulgarian market over the next three to five years,” says Fredrik Nordén.
The partnership strengthens Jobmatch’s presence in Southeast Europe and forms part of the company’s strategy to expand internationally through strong local partners.
Rather than establishing its own operations in every market, the company collaborates with established local HR organisations that already have client relationships, market knowledge and the trust of businesses in their respective markets.

Jobmatch’s predictive accuracy a decisive factor
The agreement was signed in April and appoints Toro Group as Jobmatch’s official partner and representative in Bulgaria, with the right to use and offer the Jobmatch Talent assessment tool.
Jobmatch Talent is a DNV-certified occupational personality assessment for recruitment, selection and development. Developed specifically for the workplace, the assessment measures 30 work-related characteristics to provide a nuanced understanding of how an individual works and collaborates with others. Jobmatch Talent is designed to predict actual job performance and has demonstrated high predictive validity.
Toro Group will use Jobmatch across a range of areas, including recruitment and selection, screening, talent identification and development, leadership development, team development and career development.
